The research was making on the sample of 80 junior basketball players 17 and 18 years old. They are distributing in three groups on the base of independent expert's mark of player's success (from 1 to 10). Cognitive abilities of each player were estimated by 5 tests: D48 (test of general intelligence), S1 (test of visual specialisation), P1, F1 and F2 (tests of perceptive factor of cognitive abilities). Values of the group's centroide show that first group (the best junior players) differ significantly from the two others group (tests D48 and F2), but there is no significant difference between second and third groups. Verf.-Referat N2 - У студији су истраживане когнитивне способности најбољих кошаркаша јуниора Србије. Истраживање је спроведено на узорку од 80 кошаркаша јуниора, узраста 17-18 година. Они су подељени у три групе на основу независне експертске оцене њихове успешности (од 1 до 10). Когнитивне способности су процењене са пет тестова: Д48 (тест опште интелигенције), С1 (тест визуелне спацијализације), П1, Ф1 и Ф2 (тестови перцептивних способности). Резултати истраживања су показали да постоји значајна разлика између три групе кошаркаша јуниора у простору когнитивних способности. Вредности центроида група показују да се прва група (најквалитетнији јуниори) значајно разликује од преостале две групе, и то у резултатима тестова Д48 и Ф2, док нема значајне разлике између друге и треће групе.
