Abstract des Autors

The scientific problem of the study of general and physical self-efficiency of female representatives of junior basketball aged 15–16 and 17–18 (cadets and juniors) consists in the lack of single viewpoint in scientific literature regarding existing differences in self-efficiency junior basketball players of these age groups. Moreover, researchers paid much attention to students-athletes, but not to representatives of junior basketball. Only the problems of professional self-efficiency of junior basketball players were considered in the sphere of junior basketball. Within the analysis of the quoted research, the authors guessed on the basic characteristics of indices of general and physical self-efficiency in junior basketball players aged 15–16 and 17–18. The purpose of the study was to allocate the characteristics of indices of general and physical self-efficiency of basketball players – cadets and juniors. The study, analyzing indices of general and physical self-efficiency of representatives of junior basketball from various age groups, is assumed to be of practical value. Its results will help trainers to choose the right direction of work with junior athletes, paying more attention to psychological training, since the problem of self-efficiency of athlete's personality is getting more acute within competition, when flexibility of thinking and behavior along with physical fitness are required. The studies have not revealed any significant differences of the two studied groups of junior basketball players while estimating the level of general self-efficiency. The level of physical self-efficiency was higher in juniors compared to cadets. Verf.-Referat
