Abstract des Autors

The aim of this study was to determine the weekly physical activity in school-aged children (11–15 years) with developmental motor deficit and compare it to their peers without motor difficulties. For assessment of motorics and identification of motor difficulties the MABC-2 was used. Physical activity (PA) was monitoring by using of the accelerometers and completed by the individual written questionnaire in children with and without motor difficulties (n = 15, 13.7±1.6 years, and n = 27, 13.3±1.4 years, respectively). The values of almost all measured indicators of PA were lower in the children with motor difficulties as compared to the children without motor difficulties. However, the significant differences were found only in a number of steps per week and per working days in the compared groups of boys (d = 0.5, resp. 0.7). The significant differences of the total time of inactivity (d = 0.5) and the total time of PA in the low and high intensity were found (d = 0.6, resp. 0.9) while the girls with and without motor difficulties were compared. The results of this study support the hypothesis on the developmental deficit of motor function as the risk factor of PA in older school-aged children. Verf.-Referat
