Abstract des Autors

The paper views the projected curricula of school physical education in the Czech Republic, Germany and the United States of America. The knowledge gained by the content analysis of the foreign sources might bring some inspirational motives for the Czech school system especially because the educational reforms in Germany and the USA were started 10 and 20 years earlier than in the Czech Republic. Hence, it is important to carry out comparisons of current educational reforms that might help to reform and innovate our curricular documents and the Czech physical education.
Our main goal was to compare the projected physical education curricula, especially the documents containing the education goals and the content of physical education. Because the extent, orientation, elaboration, structure of the goals and the content of physical education in each document is different we firs concentrate on the external characteristics. Than the goals and the content of PE was further analysed and compared. The results of the analysis confirm different approaches to physical education conception in the Czech Republic, Germany and the United States of America which concerns for example terminology, roles of PE, goals etc. On the other hand, from the perspective of the projected educational content, the conception of PE is often consistent in the studied countries. The analysis also show some areas of the projected content of PE which are viewed specifically in some countries of our interest. Verf.-Referat
