Abstract

The 12th World Congress intends to cover various aspects of modern sport and exercise psychology and to favour meetings of sport psychologists, researchers, coaches and athletes with different gender, cultures and orientations. The high quality of the Scientific Programme of the Congress will open new perspectives on the Science of Art and Sport and Exercise psychology and on issues related to the athlete's mental management and social changes. The different sessions of the congress will provide a full update on the most important aspects of athlete's mental training and on the latest achievements in the field of sport and exercise psychology. This fruitful exchange of knowledge and experiences aims at further developing a feeling of identity of sport psychology and to bridge cultural gaps between countries and societies.
