Abstract
The review covers German monographs and anthologies, and articles published in professional journals in the years 2008 and 2009. First, publications will be mentioned that address general topics within the field of sports and health. Then, the review will present articles which discuss diagnostics, parameters and characteristics of health-related exercise, and publications discussing the effects of health. Population-specific publications including health-related exercise with children and young people, and adults and the elderly will then be dealt with.
