Abstract des Autors

The method of prediction in competitive sports is based on the control theory and on methods of extrapolation. The method allows prediction of tendencies in development of competitional ability and also helps to evaluate and measure parameters of competitive activities and training process. The work deals with sport, medium, long and very long term prediction. Examples of models for competitive activities, morphofunctional models, and models for competitive ability are given. The last part of work explains an example of personal computer software for modelling and "model versus person" comparison. Various graphs and tables are included to represent data and concepts in an easily understandable manner. Verf.-Referat
