Abstract

Contradictional opinions characterise the discussion of a possible therapeutically use of swimming in therapy for post myocardial infarction patients. A main problem of effective sport therapeutically interventions is the regulation of the work load in the indication specific therapy process. From work physiological point of view, the study has meant that load and demand reactions have been made visible and objective measurements have supplemented subjective reactions. There is a great need here, because the measurements and indicators used to determine further therapy are often read from bicycle-ergometrics and then applied to other forms of movement. The question therefore must be „should the use of bicycle-ergometric measurement be employed in the diagnosis of rehabilitative swimming therapy". Einleitung
