Abstract

Biological maturity of a child is measured by the individual level of physical growth, defined by the relation between the chronological and developmental age. The developmental age, that is the advance of development of a given biological trait, depends among others on environmental effects. The environment can influence a young organism in a variety of ways. Therefore the aim of this work is to show how the level of development can be modified by increased physical activity. This will be analysed based on comparison of development of children that experience advanced physical activity to the population standard of growth (the Poznan population as a reference). Einleitung
