Abstract
Motor activity is one of the most efficient ways of counteracting negative impact of technological and scientific developments. Motor activity is a typical free time activity, which in European culture is a value the realisation of which seems to be much desired by anyone. Practising in young age brings about permanent behavioural changes and should determine life style in which physical activity plays an important role. The objective of this paper was to find out dependencies between practising professional sport in the past and the present recreational motor activity of women in
the light of social and economic conditions. Einleitung (gekürzt)
