Abstract
The article deals with an option of using the Kindermann - Schnabel test for research into the level of short-time high-intensity performance and possibilities of its modification. The mentioned evaluation categories facilitate the use of the test in practice. The dynamism of the level of short-time high-intensity performance was observed in the group of 17 athletes - sprinters within one year during preparatory and competition periods with parallel observtion of their training process.
