Abstract

Die Strategien für den Abwurf des Diskus haben sich schon seit Jahren gegenüber der Theorie über den Diskusflug verändert. Es wurde notwendig, die Theorie auf den räumlichen Fall zu erweitern und im Zuge der Simulation auch das Abwurfverhalten zu optimieren. Es ergaben sich teils gravierende Abweichungen von den bisher geltenden Theoriepositionen. Herausgearbeitet wurde die Bedeutung des Unteranstellens und der Seitneigung des Diskus im Abwurf, insbesondere bei unterschiedlichen Windbedingungen. Verf.-Referat

Abstract

Compared to the theory of the discus flight release strategies in discus throwing have changed during the course of the years. It became necessary to expand the theory to the spatial conditions and to optimize the release bedavior using simulation procedures. Partially serious deviations from the hitherto valid theoretical positions became evident. We investigated into the significance of two technique aspects: a) a smaller tilting angle of the discus compared to the release angle and b) lateral tilting of the discus during release, especially in case of different wind conditions.
