Abstract des Autors

Verf.-Referat

Abstract des Autors

Different examinations can be helpful to document underlying pathologies of the patellofemoral joint. Standard radio-graphs, magnetic resonance imaging, and computed tomography are most frequently used. Bone scintigraphy or ultra-sound investigations are rarely used. The chosen methods must help to identify the real pathoanatomy and the results of these examinations should be deciding for a specific therapy. Advantages of the different methods are described.
