Abstract des Autors

This study used a force plate to analyse the different technical phases that take place in weightlifting during the snatch pull. The aim of this work was to characterize the pull technique by a precise kinematic analysis. Six international and national level weightlifters performed the snatch technique twice, using loads of 70% and 90% of their best performance. The changes in barbell kinematics, the force of the pull and the center of gravity of the "weightlifter-barbell" system were used to analyse the technique of the pull. The results showed loops on the force-velocity curves, indicating the simultaneous decrease in the force of the pull and the vertical velocity of the weightlifter-barbell system as well as results from the position-changes of the knees (extension - flexion - extension). Indeed, this force-velocity relationship may be used to improve the technique (the transition phase) and the performance of the weightlifter. Verf.-Referat
