Abstract des Autors
As in routine doping control the volume of a urine sample is limited and high numbers of samples have to be tested within a limited period of time, a method for the determination of urinary EPO has to be fast and use only a small volume of urine. Here we present a fast and accurate method for the direct determination of EPO in urine using gelfiltration as a clean-up step with 2,0 mL of urine and a cycle time for one sample of ca. 5 min. NID's chemiluminometric immunoassay is used for quantification with an incubation time of 15 h. This method is not only interesting for the detection of EPO misuse but also for the determination of excreted EPO in pharmacological studies. Verf.-Referat
