Abstract des Autors
Three-hundred athletes representing various sports (volleyball, rowing, wrestling, boxing, judo, karate) were somatotyped according to the method of Sheldon as modified by Heath and Carter. The groups were highly differentiated between each other, the within-group variability being lower than in the control group. Compared with the participants of Olympic Games, the subjects studied had somewhat lower mesomorphy and higher endo- or ectomorphy. Verf.-Referat
