Abstract des Autors
On the basis of two case histories the etiology, symptomatology, diagnostic methods and therapy of a Spigelian hernia are discussed. Such a hernia of the abdominal wall is very rare. It can cause pain near the crosspoint of the rectus abdominis muscle on one side and the transversus abdominis muscle and the internal and external oblique muscle on the other side. Pain can be provoked by physical activities like sports. Treatment is surgical. Verf.-Referat
