N2  - Body composition was estimated in a group of amateur swimmers and marathon practising athletes in order to evaluate possible changes induced by the practised sport and to compare the data collected by two methods: bioimpedance and anthropometric analysis. Particularly, the comparison was made between the data concerning the adult swimmers and the marathon runners. The fat mass was lower in adult runners. Swimmers weighed more than runners because of a larger amount of fat free mass and fat mass. In all the groups selected, the data collected by the two methods of body evaluation can be superimposed.   Verf.-Referat
