Teil eins beinhaltet Basisinformationen ueber den Behindertensport. Angesprochen werden u.a. Geschichte, Gesetze und Organisationen sowie Erziehungsprogramme, individuelle Testmoeglichkeiten und Planungs- und Instruktionsmodelle. Teil zwei macht die verschiedensten Behinderungsarten von Kindern und Jugendlichen verstaendlich. Das Spektrum reicht von mentaler Retardation, Verhaltensstoerungen und Lernschwierigkeiten ueber visuelle Beeintraechtigungen und Gehoerschaeden bis hin zu orthopaedischen und Rueckenmarksbehinderungen. teil drei geht auf die entwicklungsgerechte und fruehkindliche Koerpererziehung ein. Verf. beschaeftigen sich im einzelnen mit koerperlicher Fitness, Bewegungsentwicklung, Bewegungswahrnehmung, Kindern und Kleinkindern und Koerpererziehung in der Vorschule.
