Abstract des Autors
Techno innovation continues to improve performance in cycling. Numerous products allow the improvement of pedaling efficiency. Among these, the "Harmonic" chainwheel seems to be the most interesting. As due to its shape it is in agreement with today knowledge on the biomechanics of pedaling. The object of this study is to introduce the "Harmonic" chainwheel. A further article will describe the observed differences between stress tests with circular and "Harmonic" chainwheels. Verf.-Referat
