Stress fracture of the first rib is uncommon and has usually been described in shot putters or weight lifters. The initial signs suggest cervical involvement or a lesion in the shoulder area. The case reported here demonstrates that stress fractures of the first rib should be searched in classical dansers, especially in case of increased efforts during portes. Verf.-Referat
