Author's abstract
The evaluation of soft tissue injuries can be quite difficult particularly when localized deeply. The role played by each of the major imaging techniques, i.e. radiography, radioisotope scanning, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the detection and management of intra- and extra-articular soft tissue injuries will be described in this article.
