The purpose of this study was to disclose health risk factors, especially risk factors for CHD, such as body mass index (BMI), body composition, BP and serum lipid and lipoprotein profile, in physically active and passive middle-aged former top-level female athletes and compare those with the health risks of recreational exercisers and nonexercisers.
