Abstract des Autors
Soccer diffusion is not supported by an adequate statistical study of epidemiology of acute and chronic injuries. The aim of this study is to investigate a random sample of 70 teams, playing in different national division. The data obtained point out that the most injured joint is the ankle (21% of all injuries), and mostly among forwards. The sites of the body involved and the kind of injuries change in a significant way in relation to role and age of the players. Acute and chronic injuries trend is strongly related to stage of championship. The presence of sequelae after injuries was frequent. Verf.-Referat
