Abstract des Autors
The results are reported of a study of the pathomechanics of walking carried out using a piezoelectric dynamometer and goniometry. The authors defined two indices: degree of walking periodicity and effectiveness of the impulse effect transmission to the system base-human body mass centre. The outline of the problem of walking pathomechanics is described. The study was carried out in 6 persons with normal gait and 4 patients with hemiplegia and gait disturbances. The methods of locomotion assessment used in the study may be useful in clinical practice and rehabilitation treatment, and for studies of voluntary walking (pathological) in population. Verf.-Referat
