Abstract des Autors

Ten soccer teams (recreational and senior players) were evaluated during a 90-min game of "Five-against-five". In four parts of the game, the blood lactate level averaged between 3.54 and 4.58 mmol/l. The players in the average ran a distance of 8059.4 m. Eighteen players reached an average speed of 3.18 m/s at the anaerobic threshold in the field step test. Our results prove that a recreational soccer game carried out on a weekly basis can prevent a decline in health. Individual raised blood lactate levels cause an immense interference in the coordination and/or technique and thus increase the risk of injury not only for the player himself but also for his opponent.
