Abstract des Autors
The purpose of the study was to find a possibility to practice an isokinetic eccentric strength training and to show the effectiveness of this training. One group performs maximal concentric, the other group maximal concentric, submaximal eccentric contractions on a Lido Active (submaximal eccentric = 50% of maximal eccentric torque). The result of the study is a significant improvement of all measured parameters for both training groups. None of the subjects suffered from any kind of pain during the training program. The result of the study led to the conclusion that a submaximal eccentric isokinetic training is an effective and practicable training for patients with knee injuries. Verf.-Referat
