Author's abstract
Diagnostic imaging plays a crucial role in the early evaluation of the athlete with a sports-related spinal disorder. The imaging armamentarium available to the clinician today includes conventional radiography, myelography, CT-myelography, CT, radionuclide imaging, and MRI. The effective utilization of these modalities will allow prompt diagnosis and potentiate expeditious and appropriate management and/or intervention. Verf.-Referat
