Abstract des Autors

To judge the functional effects of ski-wear, 28 persons were tested on 13 days and different ski-activities. The test persons wore different ski-suits and long underwear. The problems of thermal isolation, the damp- and water-proofing and the speed of the sweat penetration and sweat retention were to the fore of the study. Methods of the study: pulse storing over the working period, weighting of the clothes, questioning about the acceptance of the clothes and drawing up an acceptance-profile. The different types of ski-suits and underwear showed different increases of weight. Different materials showed a different sweat penetration. Pure synthetic fibres proved best, concerning the sweat penetration and the well being, for the ski-wear as well as for the underwear. Verf.-Referat
