Abstract des Autors
The results of this study show that, besides the classical fluid regulating hormones such as renin, aldosterone and the antidiuretic hormone also the atrial natriuretric factor (ANF) with its second messenger, cyclic guanosin 3':5'monophosphat (cGMP), plays an important part in the regulation of plasma volume (PV) immediately after endurance physical exercise, e.g. after a marathon. From the results of protein analysis it is suggested, that especially in the longer recovery period the increase of PV (hemodilution) might be caused by an influx of proteins into the intravascular space.
