Abstract des Autors

A case of osteochondritis dissecans of the capitellum with osteocartilaginous loose bodies of the elbow is reported in a 13-year-old male gymnast. No single episode of acute trauma was reported, and early radiological exams were negative for pathology. A conservative rehabilitation approach illustrated continued limitation in elbow extension/flexion, which raised suspicion of articular derangement and was later proven by additional radiological and arthroscopic evaluation. Postsurgical rehabilitation then enabled the restoration of additional elbow range of motion. Verf.-Referat
