Abstract des Autors
Based on the assumption that the explosive strength ability of thearm shoulder muscles is an influential factor on the sprint performance, 41 (group 1) and 17 (group 2) sprint swimmers carried out maximal voluntary contractions in three transient positions relevant to arm stroke motion with a special testing apparatus in the laboratory. Additionally, neuromuscular activity of selected muscle was studiedat athletes of group 2.
