Abstract des Autors
A high school football player who was kneed in the groin during a game sustained an injury to his right testicle. Surgical exploration revealed a large hematocele secondary to a transverse laceration. Treatment consisted of partial excision of the seminiferous tubules and primary closure of the tunica albuginea. He was allowed to return to football the following year but was advised to wear a protective cup. Verf.-Referat
