Abstract
By studying the workloads borne by elite speed skaters in China and other countries of the world during races, the author of this paper presents the parameters for the calculation of workloads endured by skaters competing in different distances. By means of these parameters and the formulas for calculation, the known workload endured by a skater in one distance (e.g., the 500m) can be used to calculate the workloads in other distances as well as in the specific sections of each distance. Such parameters will help coaches in working out plans for their skaters training and competition. Verf.-Referat
