Abstract
By means of forms of the SMA-registration, 201 patients with chondropathy of the knee were compared with the total population of SMA-patients and patients of the sports medical departments of the KNVB and NSF. The comparison is done for personal characteristics, injury-related sport and duration of the injury. Subsequently, the therapy before the SMA-visit is compared with the therapy given at the SMA or the sports medical department. Also, the differences between the therapy of the SMA and the therapy of the sports medical departments has been studied. Verf.-Referat
