Abstract
Arecent survery of Australian workplace health promotion initiatives examined both organisations involved in health promotion and those not involved. The type of activities conducted, the extent of success or failure, problems arising and barries to participation in such initiatives were examined. Workplace health promotion is a relatively new concept in Australia though one that is rapidly expanding and attracting attention from health professionals, community health agencies, academic institutions, government departments, unions, employers and employees.
