Abstract
A study on a homogeneous population group with two research techniques on peripheral fatigue has been realized: the contractile response to electric stimulation with increasing frequencies, obtaining a curve frequency/force, and the determination of the amplitude of myoelectric potential in the maximum voluntary effort. The decrease of strength in low and high stimulation frequencies and the mechanisms involved in their origin has been analysed. Displacement of the curve frequency/strength to the right is an indicator of fatigue. The studies on amplitude by electromyography are not conclusive. Verf.-Referat
