Abstract
Imaging procedures play an important role in the evaluation of many sports injuries. The cost-effective use of the many techniques available today (conventional radiography, conventional tomography, CT scanning, arthrotomography, magnetic resonance imaging, radionuclide scanning) requires an understanding of the capabilities of each modality in providing diagnostic information for a specific problem. A discussion of these capabilities is the basis for this article. Verf.-Referat
