Abstract
Reported are the results of two independent studies on the grip strength of men among the polulations of Kuwait and Poland. Is was found that Polish men had a greater mean grip strength in all age groups. The mean grip strength of the Kuwaiti polulation was about 20 lower than the mean of the Polish population. In both studied population the mean grip strength was initially rising with age and then decreasing. The maximum strength among the Polish population was noted at the age of 20-24 years while in the Kuwaiti population at the age group 25-29 years. Verf.-Referat
