Abstract
In a group of 72 women of average age 20.9 (18-27), there were found by canonical correlative analysis two independent relationships between the system of anthropometric variables and the system of variables which define both muscular strength and maximum oxygen uptake. The stated relationships show that it is possible to interpret the total, i.e. the explosive strength, on the basis of the applied anthropometric indices. However, there was no significant correlation of this system of anthropometric variables with either the maximum oxygen uptake or the static muscular strength. Verf.-Referat
