Abstract
Topics during this symposium were, for example, the cardiorespiratory system, maximal aerobic and anaerobic performance, learning of movements, motor performance, daily physical activity and the locomotor system. Special sessions were dedicated to the design, analysis, and results of longitudinal studies on the effects of exercise and training and to the possibilities and limitations for children who train and exercise strenuously at an early age. The discussion papers for this last session are also included in the Proceedings as they were presented. Verf.-Referat
