Abstract
The importance of complete, accurate recording is emphasized in injuries identified by doctors providing first aid to skiers involved in collisions with other skiers. Such accidents are increasingly frequent now that skiing is more popular and slopes are more crowded. The various problems connected with assigning the responsibility for such accidental injuries are described, with emphasis on the medicolegal investigation of the accident which can be greatly assisted by medical reports written when first aid is given.
