Abstract
The author reports on ankle sprain derived from sports injuries. Exact anatomical diagnosis is arrived at through a non-invasive method. The instant thermomap shows more or less severe rupture in the projection of the ligament. Thedevelopment of the pathological process can be followed up through regular controls. Clinical examination and contact thermography enable the orthopaedicsurgeon to form an objective diagnosis. The painting or sheet method indicatesa heat difference of 0.7 degrees C through a colour scale involving brown, red, yellow, green, blue, violet. Verf.-Referat
