Abstract

Zu den größten Herausforderungen von Athleten gehört es, die sportliche und berufliche Karriere miteinander zu verbinden. Um die Leistungssportler bei dieser Doppelbelastung optimal unterstützen zu können, stellt die Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe mit dem neuen Förderkonzept RIO die duale Karriere – also Spitzensportlaufbahn und fundierte schulische, akademische bzw. betriebliche Ausbildung – in den Mittelpunkt. Die Eckpunkte dieses Konzepts, das sich am Kadersystem des Deutschen Olympischen Sportbundes und seiner Mitgliedsverbände orientiert, werden dargestellt. Verf.-Referat

Abstract

One of the biggest challenges to athletes is the combination of the athletic and the professional career. To optimally support elite athletes confronted with this double load, the German Sports Aid Foundation has developed the new RIO support concept, which focuses on the dual career. Parmi les défis les plus grands auxquels ont à faire face les athlètes, il y a celui d'allier la carrière sportive à une carrière professionnelle. Pour pouvoir accompagner du mieux possible les athlètes olympiques dans cette dualité, la fondation allemande d'aide au sport et son concept d'accompagnement dans une double carrière RIO s'intéressent à la jonction entre une carrière en sport et une formation scolaire, universitaire ou professionnelle approfondie.
