Die homologe Meniskustransplantation (MTX) ist eine etablierte Methode zur Behandlung des Postmeniskektomiesyndroms. Zwischen 03/2005 und 11/2011 wurden an unserer Abteilung 81 Transplantationen (55 medial, 26 lateral) durchgeführt. Bei 50,5% der Fälle waren Zusatzeingriffe (HTO, ACL, DFO, OATS) erforderlich. Die Revisionsrate liegt bei 14,8%. Der Lysholm Score der Patientengruppe mit einem Mindest-Follow-up von 12 Monaten (n = 61) entwickelte sich von präoperativ 43 über 84 (12 Monate), 83 (24 Monate), 81 (36 Monate) auf 69 Punkte nach 48 Monaten. Auch die Kniefunktion (Tegner Activity Level) konnte deutlich gesteigert werden (präoperativ 4,36 Monate 6-7). Aufgrund dieser ermutigenden Ergebnisse hat die MTX auch zukünftig ihren fixen Stellenwert in der rekonstruktiven Kniechirurgie unserer Abteilung. Im Sinne der Weiterentwicklung der Methode wird an einer Umstellung der OP-Technik in eine rein arthroskopische gearbeitet. Verf.-Referat

Meniscus allograft transplantation (MTX) is a well established method to treat postmenis-cectomy syndrome. Between 03/2005 and 11/2011 we did 81 transplantations (55 medial, 26 lateral). In 50,5% of cases we performed combined procedures such as HTO, ACL reconstruction, DFO and OATS. The revision rate was 14,8%. The Lysholm Score (minimum follow up 12 months, n = 61) raised from 43 preoperatively via 84 (12 months), 83 (24 months), 81 (36 months) to 69 after 48 months. Knee function (Tegner activity scale) was improved from preoperatively 4 to 6-7 after 36 months. These results are encourageing and make us going on with meniscus allograft transplantation. Currently we are working on the conversion to an arthroscopic technique. Verf.-Referat
