Abstract
Abstract
Coordinative exercises as physical activity can positively influence cognitive performance. This effect has been observed on a short term basis (right after the intervention) as well as on a long term basis (after several weeks of training). The authors discuss examples of underlying neuro-physiological mechanisms, such as the activation of similar brain areas through motoric and cognitive tasks or a changed distribution of growth factors. Abstract
Verf.-Referat
