Abstract
Verf.-Referat
Abstract
The few podium places achieved by German athletes in the new disciplines of the Winter Olympics that have been introduced since 1992 are the reasons why the
authors connect the basic theoretical assumptions of the long-term systematic performance build-up with the talent-transfer concept and present international best-practice models of talent transfer. The necessary prerequisites for the implementation of potentially successful programmes into the German system of sport promotion are discussed. Verf.-Referat
