Abstract des Autors

Verf.-Referat

Abstract des Autors

Over the past 20 to 30 years the subject matter of sport medicine has been significantly differentiated and has thereby generated a number of findings relevant to physical education: the contribution of physical education for cardiovascular health is low and one’s overall physical activity must be regarded more intensely when analyzing the matter and thinking of interventions. The genetic disposition of a sport talent is not based on an athlete’s gene, but on a polygenetic process. Physical exercise produces expressions of genes whose quantitative response being revealed by trainability can significantly differ from individual to individual. Physical exercise not only facilitates cognitive performance qualitatively, but also structurally. Movement before and during learning processes can enhance retention performance. The immunological reaction to movement and sport is dependent on the dosis: whereby moderate stress stabilizes the immunological system, highly intense stress suppresses it. Fitness training has developed into a “type of sport” relevant to health and has thereby developed specific load variations which allow for efficient training, but also include the risks of overextension. Physical education should deal with the phenomenon of fitness training. Verf.-Referat

Abstract des Autors

Verf.-Referat
