Abstract des Autors
Abstract des Autors
ACL reconstruction is one of the most frequent operations in sports medicine today. The development of the double-bundle technique raises new discussions about anatomic tunnel placement and ACL-reconstruction itself. Nevertheless, the anatomic single-bundle technique is still the “State of The Art” in ACL surgery. The literature is not able to document significantly better results for double bundle reconstructions. More importantly, factors such as the indication for surgery, the type of graft chosen and the graft fixation device define the outcome. The most important factor for a successful ACL-replacement continues to be the anatomic placement of the tunnels in femur and tibia, preferably in between the AM- and PL-bundles, in the single-bundle technique.
