Abstract
Femoropatellar pathology is one of the most frequent causes of medical consultation for people who practice sports. The clear distinction between painful syndromes and instability, using a precise and appropriate diagnostic terminology, is fundamental to plan a correct therapeutic protocol. Careful clinical and imaging evaluation is of primary importance in order to recognize and classify the patellar pathology, allowing suitable surgical or rehabilitation treatment to be commenced. There are various surgical techniques, involving different approaches on soft tissue or bone, which, alone or in association, allow good results to be obtained. Verf.-Referat
